Phew, this one was close. Nearly lost an entire 128Mb of photos on my digital camera. Somehow the flash memory got corrupted and the photos all went bye-bye. Thank the big guy above PC Inspector freeware exists. Recovered 95% of the photos, 95% more than without the program. Definitely and great program to have around. Check it out. PC Inspector

Ok, here is a posting without a reference to something on-line for a change - but it still has to do with undiscovered treasures. Yup, we had a yard sale today - and on a high traffic street in Saint John. While it was an overcast day and cold and wet we had TONS of traffic. Literally only two 5 minute lulls in a 5 hour stretch. Sometimes up to 7 cars of people at a time. I couldn't believe it. And we got rid of 80% of the stuff - bagging over $400 in the process. Moral of the story, as they say, one persons garbage is another persons treasure. I believe it now. :-)

LOVE THIS SITE!!!! I had been having problems getting my CD and DVD drives to autoplay CD's and DVD's when they went into the drives. Nothing I could find anywhere helped. I tried for months to figure this out. I had almost resolved myself to re-install Windows XP (which would have been a royal pain). Then, with the help of the divine, I found this site. Awesome collection of fixes to run to fix what ails you and your blessed computer. In my case I downloaded the Autoplay Repair Tool. After running it a couple of times on my different drives and a couple of reboots VOILA. It's fixed!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Kelly's Korner.
